Building Our Nation's Finest

This successful 97 building development represents the first application of modular construction for military privatization projects.

PROJECT SCOPE
  • Phase I - 67 Buildings (180 living units)
  • Phase II - 30 Buildings (71 living units)
CHALLENGE
While meeting expectations for speed and quality with every development is a critical concern, meeting those expectations within the strict security and access protocols of a military installation created a significant logistical challenge.

SOLUTION
  • In addition to basic building structures, Champion provided the foundations, garages, porches and decks for more than 150 living units (including accessible units)
  • All structures met IRC building codes and since 80% of each unit was built and inspected off-site, the number of construction days required on-site, and the impact of the base's security procedures, were dramatically reduced.
