An unprecedented number of troops transferring and returning to Ft. Riley Army Base in a very short period of time created an acute demand for affordable, off-post housing. Champion was selected to provide 318 town homes for Phase One for this large development.

PROJECT SCOPE
Champion modular building process was selected to provide:
  • Seven six-unit, three-story town home buildings with garages
  • 24 nine-unit, three-story town home buildings with garages
  • Two 30-unit, three-floor buildings
CHALLENGE
Decrease the construction time so the developer could quickly take advantage of the acute demand for affordable off-post housing.
